Recreation center hours

     Hours at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday from noon-4 p.m. The facility is closed Sundays.

Take It Outside Series trips

     A trip to a local maple syrup camp is planned for April 5, 2016. The fee is $30, which includes transportation and a sit-down lunch. On April 12, members of the group will visit some area deer yards, have a lunch and then travel to a local greenhouse and learn tips and tricks from the pros and create an outdoor flower pot. Pre-registration is required for both excursions.

Spring training baseball

     This baseball program is for youth ages 9-12 and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4:30 p.m. through April 1. Pre-registration is required and the fee is $10 for residents and $25 for non-residents.

Youth track and field

     This track and field program is for youth between the ages of 7 and 15 and meets April 25 through June. Youth will be introduced to the fundamentals of running, throwing and jumping. Pre-registration is required and the fee is $18 for residents and $33 for non-residents, which includes a T-shirt. Ages 7-10 meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. and ages 11-15 meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 p.m.
