Angela McCormick
HOULTON — The Aroostook Mental Health Center has welcome Angela McCormick, PsyD, to Houlton office where she will serve as a staff psychologist offering assessments, evaluations, clinical consultation and individual, family and group therapy.
Prior to joining AMHC, McCormick practiced as a clinical psychologist at The Center for Family Counseling in St. Cloud and Wadena, Minnesota. McCormick earned her doctorate and master’s degree in psychology from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon; a master’s degree in clinical counseling from Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina; a master’s degree in religion and counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia; and a bachelor’s degree in junior high education science/math from Purdue University, W. Lafayette, Indiana.
She completed her post-doctorate residency at the Minnesota Consortium for advanced rural psychology training and her post-doctorate internship at the University of Southern Maine Counseling Center in Portland.
Most recently, McCormick served as adjunct assistant professor, developmental psychology, at College of St. Benedict/St. Johns University in St. Joseph, Minnesota. McCormick is a member of the American Psychological Association.
