Washburn Scouts conduct junior leadership training
WASHBURN NEWS
Members of Washburn’s Boy Scout Troop 177 conducted their annual junior leader training at Camp Harrison, during a recent weekend event. The Scouts were trained in their elected positions for the year 2016 and completed the annual plan for the year as well.
In February, Scouts and leaders from Troop 177 in Washburn attended church services at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Presque Isle.
Scout Sunday is part of Scout Anniversary Week activities each year, and the Troop schedules a visit to a different church in the local area to showcase Scouting’s support of the 12th point of the Scout Law: reverence.
Those attending received the 2016 Scout Sunday patch recognizing their attendance.
