DYER BROOK and CHARLTON, MA – Wayne M Barnes, 43, passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2016 in Massachusetts. He was born September 5, 1972 in Southbridge, MA the son of Edgar and Ruth Ann (Carrington) Barnes.
Wayne loved driving truck and was the proud owner of his own trucking business, Lilli John Transport. He was a hard worker, a loving family man and loved his kids immensely.
He is survived by his children, Johnathan and Lillianna and their mother, Kristina; a brother and sister, Wendell Barnes and Tammy Barnes both of Charlton, MA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Ruth Ann.
Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 9th at Bowers Funeral Home, 54 Sherman Street, Island Falls. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. at the County Road Baptist Church, New Limerick with the Pastor Bell officiating. A truck procession will escort Wayne to the church, leaving the funeral home at 1 p.m. A spring interment will be held at the Merrill Cemetery.
