There were 26 members and guests attending the April 6 meeting of Oakfield Senior Citizens held at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club building.
Following the potluck luncheon Mr. Locke called the business meeting to order with the Lord’s Prayer and the flag salute.
Verna Boone was the lucky winner of the 50/50. All of the usual reports were read and accepted.
The meeting room was filled with Easter bunnies and baskets of all shapes and colors thanks to Marie who decorates every meeting for the appropriate season.
Six members were celebrating birthdays this month.
Peanut butter and jelly were donated by club members for the Bangor Savings Bank program to help food pantries fill their shelves.
Delores reported on the RSVP banquet to be held in Presque Isle in May.
Marie and Charlotte presented comic readings.
Tahsha Sweet will be entertaining at next meeting.
