My connection to music is unexplainable, and very overwhelming.
When I sing I get this feeling like no other. When I hit those notes without a crackle, my heart races, my breathing changes, and my mind goes crazy.
Playing piano is special. The feeling I get when I master a song, when my fingers ache to the bone, when I know someone is watching me, it makes me feel like king of the world.
Next comes guitar. I know I just started, and I know I’m just learning. Whenever I learn something new it gives me a huge confidence boost and really makes me think about life. It really makes me think about my future too. To think that my dream could come true, that I could prove to everyone that I can do this.
I write this poem from my heart, knowing that dreams don’t always come true, but nothing is impossible and with God’s help my dream WILL come true.
