SHERMAN — Ethel L. Morgan, 90, died April 10, 2016 in Patten. She was born March 12, 1926 in Pascoag, R.I., the daughter of Waldo and Amey (Wade) Presbrey.
Ethel married Almon Morgan on May 31, 1945. She was a member of the Sherman Area VFW Post#2299 Ladies Auxiliary where she was a chaplin, Merry Makers Club, had worked at the M&M restaurant and Sherman Library. She enjoyed playing cards and especially spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by four daughters, Ruth and Rodney Grass of Mt. Chase, Sharon Barylski of NC, Ginger and Peter Heath of Sherman, Laureen Morgan and Raymond McCrary of Houlton; an adopted daughter, Linda Lynch; 9 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; several great-great- grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Almon C.; two children, LeRoy Edmund and an infant baby girl; a son-in-law, Richard Barylski; and three brothers.
Friends may call 11 a.m. — 1 p.m. on Friday, April 15th at Bowers Funeral Home, 56 Sherman Street, Island Falls where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. with Rev. Jack Williams officiating.
