Okay, you might not believe me at all, but this is a true story. It may seem unreal, but trust me, it’s real. This was like a dream that came true and I’ll tell you all about it. I remember it like it was yesterday.

So, I was hanging out. I had to stay in all recess to take care of some absent work. I was all alone in the classroom and there was an awkward door in the back of the room. What do you expect a tween kid in a boring classroom to do in that situation? Yeah, you’re going to expect me to jump through the door, right? Correct, I am! So I totes did and I totally freaked out! I walked in and fell down a hole. I got back up quickly though. What a relief! That could have been a never ending hole and I would just have fallen down it for the rest of my life.
I got to the bottom and it was not what I expected. I thought it would be just like storage room or something, but you can never be so sure. I wasn’t so sure and that’s why I went in the door. I understand you expect me to tell you what I saw so I’ll get to it. When I got down I saw Paris, France. I know that you’re thinking, “Wow, this girl is out of her mind.” But guess what? I’m not! I truly saw Paris, France! I saw the Eiffel Tower. I saw people biking around town. There were people sitting at tables eating croissants and drinking tea peacefully, while watching mimes pretend they’re trapped in a box. It was amazing! I’ve always wanted to see Paris and I’m finally there. Nobody spoke English though. Oh my, another door! I’m going in!
The same thing happened again, except this time I ended up in London, England. I’ve always wanted to go there. Everyone is rushing around the city, talking with their British accents. I saw the ferris wheel that you see whenever you look at a picture of London. But of course I saw the famous clock tower. The tower is known all around the world. Everything was absolutely lovely, but I’ve always wanted to come here with my family, not by myself. It would have been much better with my mom pointing at every sight and my dad telling stories of times there long ago and my brothers saying, “Look at this! Look at that!”
Okay, small problem. How do I get out of this place? Uh oh, nobody could help me. Lightbulb! I headed back to the door from Paris. I thought maybe if I went in and go back to Paris, there might be a ladder to climb back to the door and into the classroom. “Here I go,” I thought, “Here is the door. Geronimo! Okay, I’m in Paris. There’s the door. I’m saved! Or not!” I fell down another hole, but this time I was in a dark, scary place. Then I heard a voice, a scary voice. It gave me chills. Then I heard a lightsaber open. The scary voice came out. It was the one and only Darth Vader. He took off his mask and…this is crazy, but it was my teacher! She said she noticed I went down there and she wanted to scare me. That was my only punishment. I learned something that day. I learned that I have the best teacher ever!
