Executive producer Con Fullam, left, talks to panelists and show host, Don Gooding, behind the scenes at Greenlight Maine.

Fullam, creator of “Greenlight Maine”, a show similar to the ABC series “Shark Tank”, says he is looking for great ideas from Aroostook County for the show’s second season.

The half-hour program, airing on WCSH and WLBZ at 7:30 p.m. each Saturday, is designed to give Maine entrepreneurs a chance to pitch their ideas in hopes of creating a profitable business.

Fullam says the show will be looking at submissions from across the state.

“Creativity and ability to make great things knows no geographical bounds in this state,” he says.

Season One of the show has been gaining viewers, Fullam says. He wants those in Maine with bright ideas to know that the show is a place to gain valuable exposure.

“People are now watching this show for investments.”

As the first season wraps up, it has already succeeded in securing $1,250,000 in start-up investments for companies discovered on the series.

Fullam is hopeful Season Two will see even more success.

“We’ve got some great momentum going in Season One,” says Fullam, “I think we are going to be able to build on that and turn this into a bigger and better TV show.”
