CARIBOU: National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will meet at the Jade Palace to finalize convention plans. Registration at 11:30 a.m., lunch buffet at noon. Harry Hafford of the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery will speak.

EASTON: Launch Day at the Francis Malcolm Science Center, to celebrate the new digital projection system. Demonstrations every 30 minutes, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Check presentation at 11:45 and model rocket launching at 12 noon. FMI: Call the center at 488-5451.
