NEW SWEDEN — John P. Anderson, 51, passed away unexpectedly April 11, 2016 at his New Sweden residence. He was born in Caribou, May 28, 1964, the son of Delbert and Helen (Johnson) Anderson.

John was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Trombley Industries for many years. Surviving in addition to his parents of New Sweden are three brothers: James Anderson of Lebanon, PA., Craig Anderson of New Sweden and Gustaf Anderson and wife Heather of Caribou; two sisters: Sarah Anderson and husband John Haney of Caribou, and Cheryl Hawkes of East Machias; nieces: Kirsten Haney, Nevaeh Anderson, Nicki, Jamie, Sheana, Kelly, April, and Jenny; nephews, Nicholas Anderson, Dennis, Levi, Adam, Mike, Chris and Joe; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his sister Sherry Anderson.
Friends visited with the family 2-4 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, where funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. with Rev.
