Boyce accomplished this goal by completing 26 plus hours of boot camp and successfully passing performance objectives required by the National Young Marine Program. Boyce attends Houlton High School in was the manager of the Houlton varsity basketball team.
Private Boyce contributes to community service by donating some of his time helping out the Toys for Tots Program sponsored by the United States Marines.
