EASTON, Maine — The Francis Malcolm Science Center invites members of the public to Launch Day, Saturday, April 30, 2016.
The center will open its doors to demonstrate its new digital projection system recently installed in the planetarium theater. Demonstrations will be given every 30 minutes from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Refreshments will be served and Planetarium Director Larry Berz will launch a giant model rocket at noon. A presentation of $10,000 will take place at 11:45 a.m. There will also be interactive displays and refreshments in the lobby.
