Island Falls Seniors

With the best attendance to date this year of 17 members, the Island Falls Senior Citizens met for a great potluck luncheon, and an opportunity to catch up on happenings over the winter with our peers.

After our luncheon, Rich, our president, opened the business meeting with the flag salute and the Lord’s Prayer. Reports of the secretary and treasurer were noted and accepted without correction.

The main order of business was to plan our spring outing that will occur on Thursday, May 5. With three excellent suggestions, the group settled on an old favorite, Grammie’s in Linneus. We will meet at the municipal building and will leave the parking lot at 11:30 a.m.

After our business meeting, we played Bingo with three members sharing the big prize.

Members present were Ursula Levesque, Jeanne Clements, Ellie Peck, Rich Camire, Louise Butcher, Dennis Boone, Verna Boone, Mary Pipes, Gloria Noyes. Mary Lawler, Edith Dwyer, Darlene Hartin, Darrell Hartin, Donna Baker, Terry Dwyer, Dick Sheen and a new member, Charlene Cram.
