WOODLAND – Ada Cameron Durost, 92, passed away April 25, 2016 at Caribou. She was born in Washburn, July 6, 1923 the daughter of the late Roy and Myrtle (Belmain) Easler. Ada was employed by the Civil Service at Loring Air Force Base for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by one son, Lawrence R. Cameron of Woodland, and one daughter, Marilyn Cameron of New Sweden, one brother, Floyd Easler of Washburn, two sisters, Dorothy Lavway of Presque Isle and Lois Boucher of NH, her grandchildren, William Cameron, Jr., Jeff and Randy Conley, David Cameron, Tammy Andrick, Diana Cameron, Jill Guerrette, Bobbie Jo Cameron, Jason Soucie, and Joshua Mauney, seventeen great grandchildren, sixteen great great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Ada was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence Cameron, two children, William R. Cameron and Linda Conley, two granddaughters, Wendy and Deborah Cameron.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
