WOODWORTH, Juanita Marie, 85, MAPLETON, at Mars Hill, April 19, 2016. Interment will be at Riverside Ext. Cemetery, Washburn, later this spring. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
MAPLETON – Juanita Marie Woodworth, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 19, 2016, at the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill. She was born May 12, 1930, in Washburn, the daughter of Donald and Harriet (Plissey) Maskell.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked at Aroostook Shoe Co in Presque Isle for a number of years. She loved to cook, her family especially enjoyed her donuts and date squares. Juanita was a social butterfly, a very friendly person.
She is survived by two sons and their wives: Barry and Nancy Martin of Oswego, NY, and Chris and Kimberly Woodworth of Mapleton; a daughter, Pamela Nickerson of Plaistow, NH; six grandchildren: Debbie Davis, Malcolm Nickerson, John and Barry Martin, Tristen and Liam Woodwort; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elvert E. Woodworth in 2003.
Friends called 12 noon, Friday, April 22, 2016, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services were held at 1 p.m., with Rev. Greg Jackson officiating.
