WINDSOR — Virginia Gail Wallace, 90, entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, April 21, 2016 with her loving family at her side. She was born April 29, 1925 in Patten, ME, daughter of the late Howard and Gertrude (Hayes) Stubbs.
She was predeceased by her husband, the late Robert J. Wallace; her son, James R. Wallace; her daughters, Nancy Loomis, Shirley, Rosemary and Judith Wallace; a brother and three sisters. Virginia was survived by her two daughters, Suzan Hallett and her husband, Autry of Rockville, Gail Wylot and her husband, Tom of Windsor with whom she made her home; a sister, Viola Folsom of Amsterdam, NY; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Amity Grange in Amity, ME. Virginia enjoyed crocheting, knitting and puzzles in her free time.
Her family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 3-4 p.m. at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
