Beta Sigma Phi meets
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Maine Epsilon Master chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met for breakfast on April 16, 2016 at the Presque Isle Inn and Convention Center.
The business meeting was conducted by president Dolores Hutchins. The service committee reported that Easter baskets were assembled and donated to the Sister Mary O’Donnell Homeless Shelter by Honey Higgins, Bonnie Cowett and Tammy Walton.
The 85th Founder’s Day banquet will be hosted by the Fort Fairfield chapter on Thursday, April 28, at the the VFW hall.
The nominating committee presented the following slate of officers for 2016-17: president, Sue Lougee; vice president, Bonnie Cowett; recording secretary, Judy Kenney; corresponding secretary, Ellen Helstrom; and treasurer, Peggy Erwin.
The 50-50 raffle was won by Peggy Erwin, and many Happy Dollars were shared.
The next meeting will be Thursday, May 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Bonnie Cowett.
