Beaulier receives Principal’s Award
ASHLAND, Maine — High school senior Jarrett Beaulier of Nashville Plt. was recently selected to receive the 2016 Principal’s Award, according to Ashland District School Principal Joel Hall.
The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
“Jarrett has truly made his mark at Ashland District School in terms of his school service, scholarship and leadership. Jarrett is an outstanding student with high goals and expectations for himself,” Hall said.
“Jarrett has always excelled while taking the most difficult classes ADS has to offer. He has participated in many other co-curricular activities in order to stay a well-rounded student.”
During his years at the school, Beaulier has served as the vice-president of the local National Honor Society chapter, was the ADS Male Scholar Athlete for 2016 and ended a very successful soccer career with several all-star recognitions as well as the Butch Shaw Memorial Award.
Beaulier is the son of Susan Rogers and James Beaulier, and he is planning on attending St. Joseph’s College of Maine in the fall of 2016.
The Principal’s Award is presented in more than 100 Maine public and private high schools by member principals of the MPA, the professional association that represents Maine’s school administrators.
All Principal’s Award recipients and their principals were invited to celebrate during a special recognition luncheon held in Bangor.
