Here it is another beautiful Sunday with the sun shining bright. Be sure to say thanks for this one.
Joyce Bryant just stopped by to tell me that she had returned from Mexico with her daughters. Joyce said it was a fabulous trip. Good for you, Joyce.
Last Tuesday a representative from Rite Aid came by and led us in Bingo for the morning. She had the prizes, too, and will be back the last Tuesday of the month. Remember when the Pioneer Times comes out on Wednesday that is the day when people over 65 can get a 20 percent discount on almost all their items. The discount day is the first Wednesday of every month.
Mr. Anthony of the third floor has had a successful knee replacement. His wife tells us that it was discovered he had some heart problems. She noted that he was treated very fairly.
Happy retirement to Brenda Barker, RSVP worker, who will be missed. A party was held in her honor.
This is the time of year when we are all busy with weddings, parties, anniversaries, school functions, but just remember, please don’t overdo — just enjoy and don’t get tired.
My angel verse today is: “May you have enough trials to keep you humble and enough faith to keep you happy.”
Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and guardians. Until the next time, enjoy life and be happy.
