HOULTON — Madeline E. Wiggins 77, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at a local healthcare facility. She was born February 19, 1939 at Allagash, the daughter of Steven and Mary (Deveau) Bishop.
Madeline grew up in Allagash. She moved a lot and saw a lot of the country while her husband served in the military. Madeline enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She was a caring, giving person who loved to help people but could sometimes be “outspoken”.
Madeline is survived by her children David L. S. Wiggins, Lois A. Davis and her husband Walter, Richard E. Wiggins and his wife Gloria; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her sister Diane Bishop Albright; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the St. Mary of the Visitation Church 9:15 a.m.Friday, May 6, 2016 until the time of service 10:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. David Raymond, celebrant. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
