RSU 29 seeks technology director

HOULTON, Maine — The RSU 29 district is in need of a new technology director following the resignation of Tim Levesque from the position he has held for the past two years.

Levesque is leaving the field to pursue a position in the private sector. His final day with the district is May 14, 2016. The school board accepted his resignation at Monday night’s regular monthly meeting.

The district has two individuals — Jason Gilpatrick and Andrew Blanchette — working with Levesque in its technology department, which includes keeping all of the students’ computers and the district servers running smoothly.

The board did not discuss the position publically during Monday night’s meeting.
