HOULTON, Maine — Well Spring has finally sprung. The course has really greened up this past week with the rains last weekend. With the forecast for warmer weather this week, we should be in full swing. Our new Lakeside Restaurant has been well received and we have heard many good comments on the redecorating.
The Tuesday Ladies Golfers had their opening dinner last evening, catered by The Lakeside. It was well attended and they look forward to the new season. The Monday Men’s twilight league sheet is filling up fast. Call or come in to add your team. Golf for Life participants are halfway through their lessons and eagerly anticipate playing this summer.
To that end, we will be having a Welcome Scramble on Sunday, June 5, starting at 1 p.m. The play format will be a 9-hole scramble made up of GFL participants and members. It will be a fun time of fellowship with all and refreshments after on the deck.
