CARIBOU, Maine — The Porvair facility in Caribou has doubled in size and now contains an advanced clean room.
These upgrades have resulted in twice as much office and factory space in a brand new two-story building, connected to the original structure via a connector. Further, the original building has also received enhancements so the entire facility is more energy efficient.
Porvair filtration group specializes in creating products such as gasket filters, flow restrictors, diffusers, and high purity point-of-use filters. The new state-of-the-art clean room is intended to extend the manufacturing capacity for these products and to ensure that any products made for the microelectronic and semiconductor markets are contamination-free.
