The Oakfield Senior Citizens met at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club on May 18 for their last meeting in May.
The usual delicious potluck luncheon was enjoyed by all. A surprise birthday cake was delivered to Ursula Levesque to celebrate her 97th birthday.
George Barrow was the 50/50 winner.
There will be a special speaker at our next meeting on June 1.
The business meeting was cancelled to make more time for the auction of “goodies” that were donated by members.
Attending were: Ellie Peck, Marie Gillotti, Arlene Friel, Jeanne Clements, Verna Boone, Berniece Campbell, George Barrow, Bob and Delores Locke, Wannetta Townsend, Don and Charlotte Marley, Millie Gagnon, Ardyth Trecartin, Gladys Corneil, Kathleen Boutilier, Iona Nadeau and Ursula Levesque.
The group welcomes all seniors to join them on the first and third Wednesdays of the month for a potluck luncheon at 11:30 and business and entertainment to follow.
