HOULTON, Maine — Students from East Grand participated in Region Two’s Culinary Fair, showcasing their skills at an invitation-only gathering at Region Two in Houlton.
Seniors Samantha Gilman and Trevor Fronczak; and juniors Cortland Pasquarelli, Felicia Comando and Nathan Lindsay contributed dishes to a tasting fair.
The fair gave the students the opportunity to apply their skills to an audience outside the student kitchen. While there were no judges present or prizes awarded, each student gained valuable experience, and had the chance to see first-hand how the skills they learned in the Culinary Arts program enrich their lives and the lives of others.
