PRESQUE ISLE, Maine The University of Maine at Presque Isle will host the NEACAC College Fair on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 9-11 a.m. in Gentile Hall.

There will be over 50 college representatives attending this event, which is free and open to high school juniors. FMI, contact the UMPI Admissions Office at 768-9532.

NARFE to gather

 CARIBOU, Maine — The Aroostook County chapter of National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will meet on Thursday, May 26, at the Jade Palace in Caribou.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch at noon, followed by a program by Lydia Kieffer, who will speak on upcoming events in Caribou.

Regional yard sale

The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce has planned an area-wide yard sale on Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5.
Signup has been extended until Thursday, May 26. To register contact the chamber at 764-6561 or visit www.centralaroostookchamber.com.
The fee is $10 for residential customers, $20 for multifamily groups or nonprofits, $25 for a chamber member business or $30 for a non-chamber business.
The region encompasses Ashland, Blaine, Caribou, Castle Hill, Chapman, Connor, Easton, Mapleton, Mars Hill, Masardis, New Sweden, Oxbow, Perham, Portage Lake, Presque Isle, Stockholm, Wade, Washburn, Westfield, Westmanland and Woodland.

ATV course set

PORTAGE LAKE, Maine — The Portage Lakers ATV Club will sponsor an ATV certification and safety course on Saturday, June 4, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
