CARIBOU — Maynard Michaud, 88, passed away May 19, 2016 at Caribou. He was born in Caribou, May 26, 1927, the son of the late Fred and Addie (Roberts) Michaud. Mr. Michaud attended the Caribou schools and married Pam Jacques July 6, 1953, and she predeceased him in 1990.

He was employed as a mechanic at Caribou Ford for over 40 years and then taught auto mechanics at Caribou High School for a number of years. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Maynard was an avid golfer, and longtime member of the Caribou Country Club. He is survived by his daughter, Jean Michaud Gallagher and husband, Scott of New London, NH, one sister, Deda Sams of League City, TX , a daughter-in-law, Paula Michaud of Caribou; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Steven in 2014.
Graveside services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the New Holy Rosary Cemetery, Caribou, following the services all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the Parish hall. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
