FLORIDA & MAINE – Yale F. Briggs passed away May 17, 2016, in a Florida hospital. He was born in 1924 in Mars Hill, Maine, the son of Eva M. Hersom and Ralph Briggs. Yale was also a WWII veteran. 
Yale is survived by two families. First family: daughter, Joann M. Briggs of Orrington, ME, whose mother was Louise; grandson, David W. Briggs and wife, Lynn, and three step-children in Alabama; sister, Helen Donahue of Blaine, ME; brother, Arnold of Biddeford, ME; and two nephews, Jason Briggs of Biddeford and Ralph Donahue of Mars Hill. Second family: wife, Juanita; son, Thomas; stepsons, Rick, Walt of Florida and Steven of Mars Hill; as well as several grandchildren. Yale was predeceased by a brother, Cubbie and his parents.
There will be no services.
