ISLAND FALLS, Maine — What a great weekend of golf! The weather was perfect and the course is in great shape!
We had a great turnout of 29 golfers for pairs and spares this past Sunday. The winning teams were as follows: 1, Stu and Becky Kelley and Brent and Candy Kelley, both with a 33; 2, Francis and Sally Cyr, Pete Lawlor, Tom Ryan and Heidi Hollis, all with a 34; and 3, Jon and Betty Smallwood and Ralph and Valerie Powers, score not listed.
Pairs and Spares meet on Sundays at 3 p.m. for a 9-hole scramble.
Don’t forget to sign up for our annual Memorial Day tournament will be on Monday, May 30, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. This will be an 18-hole tournament; $10 per person. Men’s Twilight League starts June 7, at 5:30 p.m. Please sign your team up in the Pro Shop.
We will be holding a Women’s Evening Scramble every Tuesday evening starting at 5:30 p.m. Please register by 5:15 p.m. This will start on June 7, 2016 as well.
