INM offers notary workshop
CARIBOU, Maine — The Informed Notaries of Maine (INM) will present an educational program in Caribou on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center.
An additional workshop will be presented Saturday, June 25, at the University of Maine in Machias.
In both locations, the morning session will be a notary public refresher course. This information will pertain to current notaries and to anyone interested in becoming a notary public. The afternoon session will be all about how to perform beautiful and meaningful weddings. It even includes a “Mock Wedding” that will apply the useful information.

INM is Maine’s only professional notary organization and provides education for Maine’s notaries public several times a year at different venues. In the past, these educational opportunities have often been in southern and central Maine. This year, INM is making a concerted effort to better serve the entire state by taking the “show on the road”. With INM doing the driving, it is hoped that it will be much easier for notaries public in the northern and downeast regions to attend the programs.
