CARIBOU — Linda M. Guillemette, 67, passed away May 30, 2016 at Queens, NY following a brief illness. She was born in Caribou, May 9, 1949, the daughter of Raymond and Rose Marie (Gagnon) Dube. Linda was a graduate of Caribou High School and then earned her degree in early childhood development.

Linda loved to cook and enjoyed her time at Bert’s Diner, then she owned and operated Linda’s Place for a number of years. More recently, she was employed as an accountant at DFAS in Limestone where she was affectionately known as the “DFAS Mom.”
She is survived by her longtime sweetheart, Wilmer Jackson of Caribou; her four children, Shannon Guillemette of Dayton, NJ, Ronald Guillemette of Caribou, Tina Guillemette of Orlando, FL, and Michelle Elowsky and husband Brady of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Brandon Parent and Alexis Guillemette; several nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Ron Rosser officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
