HOULTON, Maine — At the annual meeting of the Houlton Pistol and Rifle Club held on May 1, the following officers were elected: Curtis Harrison, president; Mike Parks, vice president; and Paul Harrison, secretary/treasurer.

The following appointments were also made: Thom Brown, range officer and John Folsom, publicity. The club greatly appreciates the work of its past president, Matt Nightingale.

A potluck supper will be held this coming Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. to award prizes for the annual winter shoot-off amongst members. This shoot-off uses handicapped scoring so all participants have an equal chance of winning.

The club wishes to thank all who made our annual gun show in April a success. For membership or questions about our indoor range contact Brown at 538-4494. The club is a NRA member and it supports safe and responsible handling of all firearms.
