ISLAND FALLS — Grace E. (Thompson) Stockley, 93, who on May 25, 2016, went to heaven to be with her husband, Don, who was waiting for her with a cup of coffee.
She was born Sept. 26, 1922 in Machias the daughter of Walter and Addie (Moore) Hatt. Grace graduated from Machias High School.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda and Arthur Shur, of Island Falls, and Vikki and Robert Richie, of Kyle, TX; one son, Gregory Thompson of Houlton; five grandchildren, Wally and Gerda Goodwin; Wayne Goodwin, Wendy and Bob Hayes, Renee and Chris, Jeffcoat and Robert Richie; nine great-grandchildren Ashley and Skylar Hayes, Crystal and Jeremy Porter, Erica and David Moulton, Corey, Griffon and Courtney Richie; three great-great- grandchildren, Rian, Wade and Sean Porter.
She was preadeased by her parents; her first husband, Delton Thompson; and her second husband Donald Stockley; one son, Barry; and one brother, Ralph Hall.
