PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — There’s no better way to kick off the start of summer than enjoying some juicy strawberries, whipped cream and fluffy biscuits. It’s time for the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce’s annual Strawberry Shortcake Day.
On Thursday, June 23, 2016 rain or shine, the Chamber will be dishing up its famous strawberry shortcakes at The Aroostook Medical Center’s North Street Plaza between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The cost is $3.50 each.
For those who can’t get away from the office, with businesses located in Ashland, Presque Isle, Easton, Mars Hill, Mapleton, Caribou, Washburn or Fort Fairfield, the chamber has that covered. They will deliver an order of 10 or more to any business between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Those wanting delivery should place orders with the chamber by June 16.
