The seventh annual Caribou Summer Wrestling Camp is set for June 20-24, 2016 at Caribou High School.
Billed as “the most northern wrestling camp in the continental United States” by clinician James “Chico” Hernandez, the camp will have a morning session for grades 3-8 that runs from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and an afternoon session for grades 9-12 held from 1-3 p.m.
The fee is $25 for the morning session and $30 for the afternoon. If paying by check, make payable to the Caribou Athletic Department.
Registration begins at 9 a.m.
“Summer wrestling builds winter champions,” said Hernandez, who serves as the head coach of the Vikings’ varsity wrestling team and still competes in international and national tournaments.
