EASTON, Maine — Easton Junior-Senior High School held its annual athletic awards night recently at the elementary school.
Varsity Club Adviser Leslie Carlow and Athletic Director Steve Shaw served as mistress and master of ceremonies for the event.
Coach Bryan Shaw presented certificates to the following junior high girls soccer players: Savannah Guess, Ashley Cowley, Matigan Dow, Kaylee Boyce, Eva Callioras, Emma Lamoreau, Kassidi Hanson, Grace Flewelling, Kenzie Legassie, Cheyanne Day, McKenah Fox, Jenna Cochran, Austyn Cowley and Colleen Woodtke. Alexis Pelkey was presented with a certificate for managing the team.
Bryan Shaw presented certificates to the girls’ junior varsity basketball team. Those members include Abigail Currier, Breann Clayton, Casey Lovely, Delia Bonner, Paige Flewelling, Delaney Leach and Cecelia Ferris.
Coach Roxanne Poole presented certificates to the following junior high girls basketball team members: Kassidi Hanson, Ashley Cowley, McKenah Fox, Kaylee Boyce, Emma Lamoreau, Grace Flewelling, Savannah Guess, Eva Callioras, Lydia Ferris and Jenna Cochran. Alexis Pelkey was presented with a certificate for managing the team.
Coach Travis Carter presented certificates to the following junior high boys soccer players: Matthew Pangburn, Troy Chasse, Kooper Kinney, Kody Carter, Kyle Flewelling, Paul Bonner, Nathan Quint, Mitchell Flewelling, Camden Michaud, Wyatt Brewer, Austin Carver, Ben Currier, Kaden Arnett, Evan Carver, Devin Daniels and Rylee Chasse.
Carter presented certificates to the following junior high boys basketball players: Austin Carver, Camden Michaud, Ben Currier, Paul Bonner, Matthew Pangburn, Kooper Kinney, Kody Carter, Nathan Quint, Kyle Flewelling, Mitchell Flewelling and Dawson Haney. Manager Cecilia Morin was also presented with a certificate.
Varsity cheerleading coach Jenna Kitchen presented a bar to the following cheerleader: Macey Currier. Letters were presented to Emily Thompson, Olivia Lamoreau and Shelliese Mullen. Wilder Mitchell received a certificate.
Bryan Shaw, the varsity girls basketball coach, presented a bar to Elise Allen, a letter and a pin to Blake Bradley and Emma Bonner; and pins to Sara Gilman and Isabelle Morin. A letter was given to Casey Lovely and certificates to Abigail Currier, Breann Clayton, Delia Bonner, Paige Flewelling, Delaney Leach and Cecelia Ferris.
Coach Audra Kirk presented girls varsity soccer awards. A bar was presented to Emma Bonner, Elise Allen and Sara Gilman. Macey Currier received her letter and pin. Blake Bradley, Isabelle Morin and Abigail Currier all received pins. A letter was presented to Delaney Leach, Delia Bonner and Summer Guess. Certificates were presented to Cecilia Morin and Lydia Ferris. Cecelia Ferris and Katelyn White both received their letters for managing the team.
Coach Stacy Shaw presented certificates to the following girls’ volleyball players: Emma Bonner, Blake Bradley, Abigail Currier, Casey Lovely, Sara Gilman, Elise Allen, Isabelle Morin, Cecelia Ferris, Paige Flewelling and Summer Guess.
Coach Brent Mosher presented certificates to the following boys’ volleyball players: Drew Sotomayor, Brandon Hosford, Logan Halvorson, Trevor Hathaway, Jason Gurley, Hunter Brown, Jordan Doody, Zachary Hammond, Dustin LaCroix, Michael Brown, Collin Sotomayor, Keagan Kinney, Noah Hanscomb, Matthew Poole, Ryan West, Isaac Currier, Carson Flewelling and Wilder Mitchell.

Certificates were presented to Carson Flewelling, Christopher Busse, Wilder Mitchell, Kooper Kinney, Matthew Pangburn and Alexander Harvath. Manager Shelliese Mullen received a Letter and manager Breann Clayton was awarded her pin.
Coach Manny Martinez presented the following boys varsity basketball awards: A bar was presented to Jacob Flewelling, Logan Halvorson and Drew Sotomayor. Trevor Hathaway received a letter and pin. Hunter Brown received a pin. Jordan Doody and Collin Sotomayor received their letters. Certificates were presented to Michael Brown, Noah Hanscomb, Carson Flewelling, Keagan Kinney and Isaac Currier. Managers Jenna Perkins and Miranda McLean received letters.
Coach Danny Warren presented certificates to the following junior varsity boys basketball players: Isaac Currier, Carson Flewelling, Keagan Kinney, Ryan West, Matthew Poole, Noah Hanscomb, Wilder Mitchell, Zachary Hammond and Carter Mazerolle.
Steve Shaw also took the time to recognize several students for receiving special distinctions during the school year.
