HOULTON, Maine — The 21st annual Northern Maine Soap Box Derby rolls into town on Saturday with a full day of racing in Houlton’s Community Park.
The first races are slated to begin at 8 a.m. at Derby Hill and will continue throughout the day. The final races typically roll out in the early afternoon, depending on the number of participants.
Local racers compete for a chance to go to Akron, Ohio for The All-American Race in both the Stock and Super Stock categories.
There is no cost to attend this event.
