Oakfield Seniors met at the Information Bureau picnic area in Houlton for their second meeting in June. Altho it was a cool and windy day the hardy Seniors brought their lunches and enjoyed themselves visiting with the members also guests Chris and Cindy Johanson and Diana Nadeau.
Our next meeting on July 6 will be at the Snowmobile Club in Oakfield.
Diana Nadeau from the Agency on Aging in Presque Isle spoke about Elder Care in Aroostook telling of new programs that they are trying to get organized and some of the problems they are encountering. She will keep us informed as they go along.

All seniors are invited to join us on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club in Oakfield for a potluck luncheon with a business meeting and entertainment to follow.
