CARIBOU -— Irene Louise Jose, 90, passed away June 20, 2016 at Van Buren. She was born in Westmanland, September 28, 1925 the daughter of the late Axel and Emma (Johnson) Wedberg.

Mrs. Jose was a loving and devoted wife and mother and was married to Bion Jose for over 72 years prior to his passing in 2015. Irene loved to bird hunt, fish and spend time camping with her family.
She truly enjoyed garage sales and adding to her “collection.” She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Jose, and her daughter and son-in-law, Judy Ann and Bryan Corrow, all of Caribou, four grandchildren, Eric Corrow and wife, Robin of South China, Leslie Stevens and husband, Aaron of Pittsfield, Jennifer Dickinson and husband, Adam and Emily Jose all of Caribou, one great-granddaughter, Laurel Louise Dickinson and a great grandson, Colin Emery Dickinson. Mrs. Jose was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Louise Jose, two brothers, Charles and Roland, and a sister, Beatrice Dixon. Private family services will be held at a later date.
