Grand jury indicts 24
CARIBOU — Crimes related to drugs and violence continued to top the Aroostook County grand jury list, which was released by District Attorney Todd Collins Thursday.
The grand jury handed down 26 indictments against 24 individuals during its sixth session of the year. Indicted were:
Joshua C. Beals, 31, Houlton: failure to appear.
Kathleen M. Tapley, 26, Bridgewater: theft of a firearm and theft.
Lacey K. Brackett, 23, Sherman: theft with priors and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
Amanda L. Trecartin, 31, Houlton: aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs and furnishing scheduled drugs.
William D. Conklin, 35, Weston: aggravated assault, domestic violence assault (two counts), criminal restraint and aggravated criminal mischief.
Gregory Burke, 25, Houlton: violating conditions of release, domestic violence terrorizing, domestic violence stalking, harassment by telephone, tampering with a victim and impersonating a public servant.
James Skirvin, 42, Merrill: theft of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Brett Hanington, 25, Kingman: gross sexual assault and unlawful sexual contact.
Jed Rollins, 54, Parsonsfield: tampering with victim and violating conditions of release.
Dushko Vulchev, 39, Houlton: domestic violence assault, obstructing the report of a crime, theft, kidnapping, domestic violence terrorizing, improper contact and violating conditions of release (two counts).
Curtis Varney, 58, Canterbury, New Brunswick: gross sexual assault.
Shane A. Bouchard, 19, Fort Kent: eluding an officer, operating while under the influence, criminal speeding and driving to endanger.
Patrick M. Kelly, 49, Madawaska: OUI with priors.
Kody M. Williams, 20, Littleton: aggravated assault, criminal threatening with weapon (two counts) and violating conditions of bail.
Sammy Rodriguez, 32, Willimantic, Conn.: unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs.
Francisco Vasquez, 35, Mansfield, Conn.: unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs and criminal forfeiture of money.
Caleb L. Graffam, 22, West Enfield: OUI with priors, operating after suspension and violating conditions of release.
Lacey Wardwell, 27, Presque Isle: arson and aggravated criminal mischief.
Ryan C. Young, 35, Caribou: theft with priors, escape, and violating conditions of release.
Robert L. Adams, 32, Winthrop: possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and false registration of a moose.
Jesse J. Thibodeau, 19, Madawaska: arson.
Jacob G. Gendreau, 19, Madawaska: arson and false public report.
Derek R. Beaulieu, 20, Madawaska: arson, false public report and aggravated criminal mischief.
Nathan A. Baron, 18, Madawaska: arson, false public report and aggravated criminal mischief.
