MONTICELLO — Robert Lincoln Rockwood, formerly of Franklin, Massachusetts and currently of Monticello, Maine, died unexpectedly in Monticello on June 29. He was born in Providence, R.I.
He leaves his brother Irving from Ayer, Mass. and his brother Thomas from Dedham Ma. and sister Virginia from Chicago, sisters Beverly and Elanor and brother Richard had predeceased. He also left 7 children; Deborah DiCecco of Millville Ma., Brenda Gould of Uxbridge, Ma., Calvin Rockwood of Monticello, Maine, Holly Robison of Bend, Oregon, Rhonda Rockwood of Milford, Ma., Leslie Storey of Yoncalla, Oregon and Loriann Danforth of Uxbridge, Ma.
He also leaves 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Bob was an avid fisherman, hunter and snowmobile rider all his life. He worked for Massachusetts Electric as a mechanic and crew leader for 42 years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Masons. Pre-deceased were his wives Roslyn (Richardson) Rockwood, Myrtle (Nason) Rockwood and Doris (O’Connell) Rockwood.
