BURLINGTON, VT. — Alana Smith of Houlton graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in English during commencement ceremonies on May 22 at the University of Vermont.
The university conferred degrees this year on an estimated 2,937 graduates, including 2,329 bachelor’s, 388 master’s, 114 doctoral, and 106 M.D. degree recipients.
