I had a nice Fourth of July. The holiday will be past when the paper is printed, so hope you all had a safe and joyous holiday.

I heard the fireworks at the park about 9:30 Saturday night. It lasted about 15 minutes.

Lots of company and relatives and companions are coming to see their loved ones here. On the agenda is an indoor cookout Sunday afternoon put on by Christy, Brian and Charlene’s youngest daughter. She lives in Orrington and has consented to this project.

A free blood pressure clinic and education session will be in the community room every second Tuesday of the month. The clinic is sponsored by the Visiting Nurses of Aroostook. Please mark it on your calendar.

The bingo over a week ago was a success. Bingo was headed by the Rite Aid representative and she brings the prizes. It’s fun, so why not come and enjoy?

Tony on the third floor has revealed that his dog is in Presque Isle, where he has lots of room to run and roam. Tony said his dog could not handle it here (his words).

My wish is that everybody is in good health and able to enjoy life. Have a good summer with safety in mind.

My angel quote: “I looked over Jordan and what did I see? A band of angels coming after me, comin’ for to carry me home.” (African-American spiritual.)
