WINTERVILLE – Linwood Haley, 87, passed away peacefully with family by his side on July 4, 2016, at St. Froid Lake. Linwood was an avid outdoors man, enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and tying flys. He was a member of the N.R.A. He worked for 32 years at the Northeastland Hotel in Presque Isle.
He is survived by four daughters: Pat and husband, Dave Cyr of Caribou, Ellen and husband, Charlie Crockett of Fayetteville, NC, Roberta and husband, Dana Lowell of Fort Fairfield, Virginia and husband, and Arnold Grass of Presque Isle; five sons: Hillman Haley of Brighton, CO, Winfield and wife, Ella Haley of Easton, Linwood and wife, Nancy Haley of Presque Isle, Gary and wife, Rayleen Haley of Limestone, and Larry and wife, Nancy Haley of Presque Isle; 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Madelyne (Dyer) Haley.
