Hello, everyone. Thursday of last week was very hot. Other than that we have had very nice summer weather.
On a Sunday afternoon recently, Ben Henderson, oldest of four children of Brian and Charlene Henderson, drove the tenants around in his horse-drawn sled or sleigh (I guess I don’t know the correct word). All of us who wanted to ride had a nice one with Ben’s children. We went up High Street, across where the grocery store is, down Court and to Military Street and home. That was a nice ride, Ben, and thanks so much.
Margaret Drew met with some of her classmates for a reunion and had a super time.
Kathryn Hall spent the weekend with her mother, Lois Downing.
Bill from New York, who lives in a busy place, arrived the beginning of the week to spend some time with his sister, Lavina Byronin. Of course, Bill has been visiting his other sister, Norma, at the nursing home. Bill’s birthday was Tuesday.
We had an educational session on Tuesday and it was fairly attended. Blood pressures were taken and recipes for salt substitutes were passed out. Thank you to the people responsible.
The window workers are completely finished their job here. All the windows are installed.
RSVT tickets are making the rounds. If you are approached to buy a ticket, please do. They have some nice prizes.
