HOULTON & ORANGE CITY, FL — Leslie Edwards Cole, 68, passed away July 6, 2016 at her residence in Orange City, Florida. She was born September 27, 1947 in Houlton, the daughter of Donald L. and Barbara C. (MacNair) Edwards.
Leslie was a graduate of Houlton High School, Class of ‘65. She attended Ricker College, the University of Maine at Orono and Presque Isle and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Northern Maine Technical College in Presque Isle. Leslie loved spending time with her family.
Leslie is survived by her son Theodore “Ted” (Cole) Calef and Denise Williams of Cream Ridge, NJ, her daughter Allison M. Cole of Orange City, FL; four grandchildren Stephen Calef and his wife Chelsea of DeLeon Springs, FL, Erika Cole Lupton and fiancé Ryan Ianacone of Orange City, FL, Steven and Joseph Williams of Cream Ridge, NJ; great grandson Ashton Lupton of Orange City, FL; two sisters Andrea Smaligo and her husband Peter of Houlton, Kimberly Cheney and her husband Peter of Mars Hill; aunt Gennette Hawley of AZ; nephews Gregory Smaligo and Benjamin Cheney; niece Ericah Cheney; cousins Charlotte McArtur, Kathrine Stoton, Barbara Cotta and Susan Walbridge; former husband Ralph Cole; brothers-in-law Jim and Jean Cole, Gary and Louise Cole, David and Sherry Cole. She was predeceased by her parents.
