SMYRNA — Troy R. Bishop, 49, died July 23, 2016 at his home in Smyrna. He was born Oct. 1, 1966 in Island Falls, the son of Rodney Bishop and Perlene (Burpee) Lane.
Besides his father of Dyer Brook and his mother of Oakfield, he is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Michele (Cote) Bishop of Smyrna; three children, Dustin Cote of Houlton, Levi Landry of Smyrna and Daniel Bishop of Panellas Park, Fl.; one grandson, Jayden Landry and one granddaughter Madalynn Cote; siblings Tracy Bishop of Brewer, Allison Reynolds of Phippsburg, Melanie Bishop of Dyer Brook, Tanya Barnett of Ocala, Fl., Sonya Moleon of New Limerick and Torry Lane of Oakfield; several aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and a close friend, Kenny Hitchcock. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; a stepmother, Bonnie Bishop; a stepfather, Malcolm Lane; brother, Malcolm Jr.; sister, April Bishop and a niece Christie Hall.
Friends may call 1-2 pm Thursday, July 28th at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. with the Rev. Sterling Lawrence officiating.
