Boosters golf tourney set for August 6, 2016
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The PIHS Wildcat Athletic Boosters’ two-person mixed format golf tournament will take place Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 at Presque Isle Country Club.
The tourney is an 18-hole event, with six holes of best ball, six holes of alternate shot and six holes of scramble format. There is a minimum team handicap of 12.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the top net and gross teams, with golf shop prizes going to winners of the closest to pin and longest drive competitions. There is a $10,000 hole-in-one prize and a putting contest is also being offered.
The tournament begins with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $100 per team and registrations will be accepted through Aug. 4. To reserve a cart, contact Barry Madore at 764-0430.
