HOULTON, Maine — Hunter safety courses offered by the Houlton/Hodgdon Adult and Community Education program will be take place in time for moose season.
Hunter Safety courses are taught by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, instructor Rick Tidd. The course will take place at the Houlton High School cafeteria on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 27, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $5. Attendance at both classes is mandatory.
This course is offered now to make sure local hunters are ready for moose season. Any individual interested in this course should register by calling 521-3100 ext 5.
